itkdbgetlibraryinfo – Script command

Evaluates a Cadence Virtuoso library file and returns its library, cells, and view information for given a path to a cds.lib file.

This command is only available on Linux.

Syntax

out= itkdbgetlibraryinfo (path_to_library);

Examines the Cadence Virtuoso library file for library information.

path_to_library: A struct that contains the path to the cds.lib file. The struct should contain one attribute named “cdsLib”, with its value being the full path to the “cds.lib” file.

An example structure is as follows:

{"cdsLib":"/home/example/cds.lib"}

This command returns a list of structures, each item in the list representing a library, and have the following fields:

- library: Name of the library
- cellViews: A list of structures for each cell in the library, each element of the list contains the following elements:
  - cell: Name of the cell
  - views: A list of view names within the cell
