The file format is:
(number of frequency points, number of columns)
followed by the real and imaginary parts of the S parameters:
• If the number of columns is 3, the format is:
f1 abs(S21) angle(S21)
f2 abs(S21) angle(S21)
...
• If the number of columns is 5, the format is:
f1 abs(S11) angle(S11) abs(S12) angle(S12)
f2 abs(S11) angle(S11) abs(S12) angle(S12)
...
with the assumption that S22 = S11, S21 = S12
• If the number of columns is 9, the format is:
