Implementation Details
The 3 port optical circulator is an element that separates optical signals that travel in opposite directions in fiber. Please see the example file optical_circulator.icp for more information on the implementation details of this element. Following is a figure of the system in the example:
The light enters any port of the circulator exits from the next port; which means light goes into port 1 emits from port 2, and if some of the emitted light reflected back to the circulator, it will exit from port 3. The figure above clearly shown the working results of this element.
