Implementation Details
The element Electrical Attenuator attenuates the input signal by the amount of value according to user's setting. Following is the simulation system in the example file electrical_attenuator.icp to illustrate the working principle and effect of this element.
In the example, the attenuation is set to be 3 dB, which attenuates the signal power by half. The two figures below are the outputs of the oscilloscopes, for the signal's amplitude and power, respectively.
