This is an advanced photonic model that allows users to create scripted Verilog-A photonic models with desired behavior based on user-provided Verilog-A modules.
For this model, CML Compiler automatically generates a shell for the user defined Verilog-A module where
- It converts the module's optical ports to Ansys bidirectional ports (based on Ansys photonic port configuration)
- Sets up the required connections if electrical equivalent circuit is provided
- Sets the model up for statistical simulation if statistical model is provided
CML Compiler can also automatically create schematic symbols and set up the CDF for this element based on defined ports and parameters.
