The first step in creating a new compact model library (CML) is creating a library source directory. A library source directory can be created manually by creating the required folder structure with the required files. Alternatively, the example Lumfoundry Template library can be deployed and used as a starting point for your CML Compiler directory.
To deploy the Lumfoundry Template library:
- Click the Deploy Lumfoundry button in the toolbar.
- In the file dialog, select a location to create the library source directory for the Lumfoundry Template library.
- In the Deploy Options window, enter the name of the new library in the Foundry name field.
This will deploy the Lumfoundry Template library in the specified location with the specified name.
Once the CML Compiler directory has been created, you can:
- Edit library properties
- Add, modify and delete elements
- Edit element source data
- Build your library
- Run QA tests
