This page presents 2 short videos to get started with Speos. By the end of the first one, you will have create a direct simulation measuring irradiance of light having been propagated through a TIR lens.
Part 1: Irradiance Simulation of a Collimator
This first part of the crash-course shows how to create a simple collimator, assign optical properties, create a light source and an irradiance sensor to run a first direct simulation and analyze the result using Light Expert.
Part 2: Radiance Simulation of a Collimator
This second part shows how to create a radiance result of the collimator created in part 1, by adding an ambient source, radiance sensor and setting-up an inverse simulation to propagate the rays and analyze the result using Human Vision.
