Upgrade existing EPDA environment to new version

To install a new version of EPDA environment to a new working directory, please refer to the Install EPDA environment to a new working directory. 

For an already setup EPDA environment, users can upgrade the existing environment to work with new versions of Lumerical tools. This can be done by updating the following content of the .cdsinit file in the existing working directory:

callInitProc("INTERCONNECT")

where <major version> refers to the version number of Lumerical Suite package, e.g., v221.
