This article provides the standard process on running Lumerical simulations on Azure. Once both the license server and compute nodes has been configured on Azure, you should be able to run your simulations just like running them on your local network.
Connecting to your Azure VM
- Connect to your Windows VM on Azure.
- Copy your simulation files to your Azure compute note VM.
- You can directly copy them over through your remote desktop connection from Windows desktop to your Windows VM.
- Connect to a Linux VM via SSH + X11 or third party client software like MobaXterm to copy and run your simulations.
Graphical connections
Open and launch the design environment CAD/GUI. The way you open and run them on your local desktop.
Non graphical Linux connections
Run the simulation jobs directly from Terminal on Linux.
