Monitor type: The monitor type and orientation, this option will control the available of spatial setting below

• X, Y, Z: The center position of the simulation region
• X MIN, X MAX: X min, X max position
• Y MIN, Y MAX: Y min, Y max position
• Z MIN, Z MAX: Z min, Z max position
• X SPAN, Y SPAN, Z SPAN: X, Y, Z span of the simulation region
• USE IMPLIED BEND COORDINATES: Enabling this options allows to see the material index according to any applied bends in the EME simulation, and will impact index preview (pre-simulation) and index profile (post-simulation).

Here is an example of using the implied bend feature of the EME index monitor:

The monitor needs to include the bent area shown with wireframes. Notice, how this can be outside of the EME simulation region.

In the visualized results, a value of -1 is reported for any area without assigned material (outside of the simulation region).
