After finding modes by clicking the Run button in the main menu, the EME Analysis Window
will be opened.
It contains the settings to perform a single propagation on the left, and the propagation sweep, mode
convergence sweep, and S-matrix index mapping table on the right.
We will start with a single propagation without periodicity.
Let's look at the available settings.
Most of the settings for the Cell group definition are inherited from the EME setup tab.
Since the modes have already been calculated, number of cells, modes, and custom settings
cannot be changed unless you switch back to Layout mode.
At this point, you can only modify the group spans and subcell methods, since these do
not require the Find modes step to be repeated.
"override max modes" overrides the number of modes used in all cells to use the specified
maximum number.
This feature is useful for mode convergence testing, which will be covered in next section.
The "select source" section allows you to select the input source port and the mode
to inject at the input port.
The source amplitude can also be set here.
These settings will be used to propagate the fields for the field profile monitor results
Once everything is set up properly, click "eme propagate" to perform the propagation
with the specified settings.
