To start a simulation, simply use the run command.
It will launch the current project using the resources set in the resource manager.
Once the simulation is finished, the project is in analysis mode.
Modification of any simulation settings is not allowed in this mode.
So, if you want to change some of the settings for another simulation, you first need to
get back to layout mode, using the switchtolayout command.
Note you can use the layoutmode command to check if the project is in layout or analysis
mode.
In this example, we will run a loop over the Silicon layer thickness and use the run command
to run the simulation for each value of the thickness.
Note each simulation is run one after the other.
In the next unit, we will see how to run multiple simulations using the job manager.
