Once we have added all the compact models to the custom folder, we can publish the compact
model library and share it with others.
We can do this by right-clicking on the custom folder and selecting "Package/Publish".
The pop up window gives us the option to select the distribution model of the published CML.
The options are public, protected and protected plus.
We will learn about these options in the next unit.
For now we will use the default option which is public.
The same window allows us to set the name of the .cml file and pick the destination
folder.
We can open the destination folder to see that a new .cml file has been created.
Once published, we can install the compact model library into the Design Kits folder.
Simply right-click on the Design Kits folder and select "Install".
Select the location of the .cml file and the folder where you want to install it.
The practice compact model library is now available under the Design Kits folder. We
can place the ring modulator compact model from the installed folder into the schematic.
One thing to note here is that once a compact model is installed you can no longer expand
the compound element or open up the property editor to access for example the setup script.
Note that the "Edit" or "Expand" options are no longer available.
