Lumerical's products include a job manager allowing you to run concurrent calculations
using the resources set in the resource manager.
The addjob command will add the specified project to the queue of simulations to be
run.
The clearjobs command will remove all jobs from the queue.
The “runjobs” command will run all the jobs in the queue.
In this example, we will use the job manager to run this parameter sweep.
First, we create all the simulation files and add them to the queue.
Then we can run the jobs in the queue.
Note the job manager is running 2 simulations at a time.
Once all the simulations are done, we load them and plot the result of this sweep.
In the next unit, we will see how to run a parameter sweep or an optimization task using
script commands.
