This page shows the guidelined for removing/clearing Ansys Lumerical cache from the local computer. The process shown is needed to reset or remove the current Ansys Lumerical login information on your computer. Clearing the login information is a 2 step process: (1) Lumerical cache/login and (2) Browser cache.
Removing Lumerical cache and login information
- Open the Windows File Explorer or the "Run" [Win+R] prompt and enter,
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Lumerical
- Remove all the files/folder found on the directory.
- Remove the "Lumerical preference.ini" files from your computer, except License.ini file. See this KB for details.
Removing browser cache
- Open the browser you used to log in to Ansys Optics/Optics Launcher.
- Remove all the browser history or cache. (See your browser's documentation for the process).
- Close the browser.
- You should be prompted to enter your username and password when logging in to Ansys Optics or Optics Launcher.
